Stikeman Elliott welcomes Richard Owens
On June 1, Richard Owens will start as Counsel in Stikeman Elliott's Corporate Group, with a focus in the technology area. Richard has 20 years of experience acting for technology companies, financial institutions, and others in technology-intensive transactions, including licensing, strategic alliances and joint ventures, privacy, financing, outsourcing, electronic commerce, public-private partnerships and internet issues. 
 
Richard has written and published widely on the law of information technology, privacy, and the regulation of financial institutions. He has been repeatedly recognized as one of the leading technology lawyers in Canada and was recently selected to be included in the 2009 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the specialty of technology law.
