Law Practice
Harry Andersen is a partner in Stikeman Elliott's Commercial Energy Group in Calgary whose practice focuses on significant transactional and advisory engagements. Mr. Andersen has extensive experience in major merger and acquisition transactions, project development, joint ventures, financings, reorganizations and restructurings. He has considerable experience in most aspects of the energy industry, including in respect of petroleum, natural gas and other product pipelines and related storage and terminalling facilities, natural gas storage, processing and other upstream and midstream facilities, traditional and wind power projects and greenhouse gas credit and related matters.
A significant portion of Mr. Andersen's practice also involves advising on energy trading and derivatives matters, including exchange traded products, electronic trading platforms, credit support arrangements and aggregator and wholesale arrangements.
Mr. Anderson is taking a leading role in the firm's Emissions Trading and Climate Change Group's activities and represents a diverse range of clients in this practice area including banks, financial institutions, investment dealers, corporations, private funds, regulatory bodies and exchanges, among others.
