Maria Konyukhova

Stikeman Elliott congratulates Toronto Restructuring & Insolvency partner Maria Konyukhova who has been invited to join the membership of the Insolvency Institute of Canada (IIC). The IIC attracts the best insolvency practitioners throughout Canada as members, all of whom are selected on their own merits through an application review process. All IIC members are recognized as thought leaders in the area of commercial insolvency and restructuring policy.

As Canada's premiere forum for leadership in the field of commercial insolvency and restructuring, membership in the IIC is by invitation of the Board of Directors and is based on a competitive application review process. Maria is among a small group of top insolvency professionals selected this year by the IIC’s Regional and National Membership Committees. Her membership will be announced at this year’s IIC Annual General Meeting & Awards on October 8, 2020.

This is one of many recognitions Maria has received reflecting the great accomplishments of her work in the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency Group. Most recently, she has earned rankings including Chambers Canada and Chambers Global 2020 as a leading lawyer in Restructuring/Insolvency, and awarded Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 in 2019.

Maria joins other colleagues of Stikeman Elliott’s Restructuring & Insolvency Group who are members of the IIC. Stikeman Elliott’s celebrated Group offers excellent service to clients and has the reputation of being skillful, creative and up on the leading edge of new law and structures in the restructuring area.
