Stikeman Elliott litigators honoured at the 2018 Benchmark Canada Awards

Benchmark Litigation hosted its annual awards gala on February 22, 2018, and Stikeman Elliott was awarded Québec Law Firm of the Year and Insolvency Law Firm of the Year, including winning three of the six National Impact Case awards for the following deals:

  • Deloitte & Touche v. Livent Inc.
  • Capstone v. Ontario Electricity Financial Corporation
  • Ernst & Young v. Essar Global et al.

Furthermore, the 2018 Emerging Talent award went to Frédéric Paré, Katherine Kay was recognized with the Competition Litigator of the Year award and Glenn Zacher won the Energy Litigator of the Year award.

In addition to these honours, 27 of the firm’s litigators were listed in the Benchmark Litigation’s 2018 Benchmark Canada Guide which focuses on identifying leading litigation firms and individuals in Canada who consistently handle complex, high-stake cases in multiple jurisdictions.
