Stikeman Elliott wins Canadian Innovation in Legal Expertise award

The results of the FT Innovative Lawyers Awards North America affirm Stikeman Elliott’s commitment of turning our legal expertise and knowledge into business advantages for our clients. At this year’s ceremony, held on December 10 in New York, Stikeman Elliott won the Canadian Innovation in Legal Expertise award for our work on Sprott Asset Management’s takeover of the Central Fund of Canada transaction.

The ceremony was held in combination of the release of their ninth annual FT North America Innovative Lawyers Special Report. We are pleased to share that our involvement further included:

  • Stikeman Elliott Chair, Marc Barbeau, being featured in a spotlight article on Canadian innovative leaders.
  • A commendation for our representation of Canadian Medical Association in its exclusive 10-year affinity agreement with Scotiabank in connection with the sale of MD Financial Management.
